592 Table Lodge
Steve Ratner - 2017-02-12 12:05 - ( Reads)Schenevus Valley Lodge will be hosting a Table Lodge on Saturday, February 18th. Social Hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., with Lodge Opening at approximately 7:00 p.m.
For those who have yet to attend, at Table Lodge, aka Lodge of Table Instruction, we Open on a modified First Degree, eat an entire multi-course meal, and have a number of toasts to various entities. You must use correct "Table Lodge Speak" using substitute words for common dinner items. Failing to do so requires a coin of the realm be donated to the Brotherhood Fund. Because it is on the First Degree, any Mason of any Degree is invited. It is my personal favorite Masonic activity, and a lot of fun.
The menu, courtesy of Right Worshipful Bruce Reed, is shrimp cocktail, salad, clam chowder, and beef brisket with mashed potatoes for the main course. Cost is $15.00 per person.
As usual, I'll be serving as Wench Master.
