This is an opportunity to have meaningful discussions in an open, informal format and improve communications between Grand Lodge and the Districts.

As always wives are certainly welcome and there are programs to keep them entertained. The Grand Chapter meeting in Albany is a wonderful affair and I encourage you to have your Chapter represented. And remember, if your newly elected High Priest has not received the order of High Priesthood he cannot function as such.This order will be given at Grand Chapter.

The Special Annual Meeting of CHARLES SMITH Council #324 will be Thursday, 6 December 2012, convening approximately 6:00 pm in the Ilion Masonic Temple, 118 Morgan Street, Ilion NY. The Meeting will be for the Purpose of Electing Officers for 2013. It is anticipated that the Progressive Line will move-up one position, with the exception of the Secretary/Treasurer. It is expected that INSTALLATION WILL BE HELD AT THE NEXT MEETING, IN THE SPRING 2013.
THIS MEETING WILL ADJOURN AS SOON AS PRACTICAL AND THEN PROCEED TO THE MOHAWK STATION FOR EVENING MEAL AT 6:30 PM, joining members of Utica Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine and their ladies.

At the Nov 19 Stated Communication of Oneonta Lodge No. 466 (7:30 pm), VW Richard Transue will give the 3rd Degree Historical Lecture and W Douglas Macomber will present the Walk About which describes the various stations in the lodge.
Oneonta Chapter of the Daughter's of the American Revolution invite Masonic Veterans to our meeting on Saturday, 10 Nov 12, at the Oneonta Masonic Temple.
The Music Fraternity from Hartwick College will be honoring the veterans in song. The concert will start at 1 p.m. Spouses are also invited. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
Results of the Masters and Wardens Tournament on Aug 6. The day was picture perfect as 12 teams from the Otsego-Schoharie and Delaware Districts took to the links.

November 5, 2012 at 5:30 pm Oneonta Lodge open and will confer the Master Mason Degree on proficient Brothers.
We will have a potluck dinner at refreshment. Please bring a dish to pass.
Debris on Northside of I-88 between Interchanges 16 and 15 was cleared and bagged on Saturday 5 May, by members of Oneonta Lodge 466 Free and Accepted Masons, and seven students attending Hartwick College, who joined in clearing the debris. Mark Alcott, Eric Bode, Eric Goodman, Cody Kenyon, Chuck Masters, Andrew Schwartz and Alex Torres of TEKE assisted Alexander Brannan, Fred Hickein, Douglas Macomber and Dominic Parlato in the 2 ½ mile hike. The many plastic bags lying along the shoulder, during the weekend were evidence of the many items discarded by thoughtless passengers occupying vehicles on the highway. We sometimes wish that those people had the opportunity to join us in cleaning the areas. The Lodge members are very appreciative that these students help support the community in performing a civic activity.
